The 2010 Westcountry Balloon Fiesta will see the magnificent site of hot air balloons return to the skies over Tavistock. Taking place over the 4th-5th September, the event is being focused on the balloons themselves and will not feature the large number of sideshows or arena entertainment as in previous years – there will however be the ever popular onsite food offering and of course, the Round Table bar!

Staging the event has only been possible thanks to the support of Robert Wiseman Dairies, one of the UK’s largest dairy processors, and  Tavistock Town Council.

As a result of their help, all profits from the event will be going to local and regional charities supported by event organisers, the Lions Club of Tavistock and Tavistock Round Table.

With just 6 weeks to go until the event starts, the organising committee is working hard to make sure that everyone attending the event is bale to get up close to the balloons.   All we need is some good weather, so keep your fingers firmly crossed!
